Columbus Mothers of Multiples
Columbus Mothers of Multiples (CMOM) is a chapter of the national Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs NOMOTC) serving parents in the Columbus Ga area including Harris County, Chattahoochee County, Muscogee county and Talbaton in Ga. Russell County and Lee County in Alabama. Founded in 2000, By Karen Waters & Kim Harty. This club serves as a support group for parents of multiples. We are presently small but, growing every month. Our monthly meetings consist of a short time for business and the rest is support and question answering session. It is an outlet for moms of multiples. We meet the third Thursday of each month except December. At 7 p.m. at the Medical Center in Columbus Ga in the John B. Amos classroom A. Our dues are $25 a year. This includes $9 going to the National organization. Club membership includes membership in the NOMOTC that publishes an outstanding newsletter, host informative anual conventions and facilitates multiples research projects. Locally CMOM publishes a monthly newsletter, host knowledgeable speakers at monthly meetings and schedules exciting events for moms,only couples only, & for the entire family.
