Crime Inc. : Characters of Clue
Another night, another demise,
Cadaverous wind blowing cold as ice...
I`ll let the wind blow out the light
cuz it gets more painful everytime I die.

Note: Once I find a good picture of the guests in the Clue games, I'll put it up. Same thing with a diagram of Boddy's mansion
Brief explanation on Clue:
Ah, Clue and all its glory. What is it? Well, it's a board game created by the Parker Brothers (who've made a lot of other games like Monopoly and Life). It came out in England first and then made it's way to the USA. Here's what happened: Mr. Reginald Boddy (or Dr. David Black if you play the European version), a wealthy billionaire, is found murdered in his house. One of his six guests has committed this crime and the objective is to find out who did it, what weapon they used, and what room they killed him in. This game slowly became a book miniseries, has another version made for kids (Clue Jr.), a movie, and a lot of PC games. It never does lose its appeal, that's for sure. You gotta love the whodunit type games.
Characters
Reginald Boddy/David Black: Mr. Boddy/Dr. Black (I'll use the American name) is one of the wealthiest men around. He's got everything from a private zoo to his own amusement park to a statue of himself made of wax and jewels. So as you can see, no wonder his five guests and maid (Later on, there are more guests but I won't mention them now) want to rob him blind and do away with him. Despite being killed over a gazillion times, Mr. Boddy lives. And he keeps bringing the same guests to stay at his house over and over again so they can rob and attempt to kill him over and over again (he does give them punishments though like cleaning out his private zoo). He's a nice guy but pretty oblivious and gullible. He's usually a short, balding man that's a bit on the pudgy side. He carries his weight of gold and money on him (and perhaps more than that) and he's the only one who we ever find out the birthday of (November 13th, mark your calenders). Not much else can be said about him except he's been having a couple of affairs according to the PC, namely with his maid Mrs. White(0.o). But I'll talk about those later.
Colonel Michael Mustard:
(Yes, I realize I should be using yellow for him but I don't think it'll show up well on a white background.) Ah, the Colonel. He's proud to be a man. He's always potrayed as a brave, dashing man, once high ranked in the military, and has done a good deal for his country. He loves hunting and practicing his shooting, fencing, flamethrowing, etc. in the mansion. There are times he tends to forget that he's no longer in war though and he's willing to challenge anyone, man or woman, to a duel if they cross him. His most popular saying is "I challenge you to a duel!" and he says it often. He's only fought one full duel during the books (and he won) but usually, people tell him to shut up. His first name in the British version is Michael so I'm going to call him that too. His younger version in Clue Jr. is a little scary looking though. As for romantic interests, the colonel is single but he's caught the eyes of both Peacock and Scarlet. So who knows who he'll end up with (my bet is on Peacock because he tends to respect her and listen to her more than anyone else.) In the British version, he is the fiance of Mrs. Peacock but secretly having an affair with Peacock's step-daughter, Miss Scarlet. Yup.
Professor Peter Plum:
Ah, the good old Professor. Possibly the smartest and most absentminded man to exist on this planet. He's balding smart man, no doubt, but he doesn't remember what he's kept inside his brain. He'll forget to wear shoes, the alphabet, what comes after three, that explosives are dangerous, the theory of relativity, etc. He's sometimes out of tune with the rest of the world. Snakes can crawl all over him, bite him, and squeeze him. And he'd still have no clue what's going on. He remembers messages but he doesn't remember what they are about. He'll try to make Mrs. Peacock smarter but accidentally clone her. He's a good-natured fellow for the most part but he commits his share of crimes too. He's forgetful enough to steal his own things for god knows why. In Clue Jr., he's a boring little dude, not quiet absent-minded yet. Personally, I like the older one better. Sometimes he's portrayed as either the youngest or eldest of the men. Again, I prefer slight older but not too old.
Rev./Mr. Jonathan Green: Depending on the version of the game you're playing, Green is either a kind-hearted reverend or a bully of a businessman. I prefer the American businessman obviously (I just can't picture Green as a holy person. What reverend goes around killing people anyway?). Well, he's mean. He's greedy. He loves money. He cares only about money (and occasionally other things like jewels). He'll charge you for any favors he does. His favorite color is, to no surprise, green (though I think he has a love for gold and silver as well). He'll kick anyone out of the way to get his hands on some dough. He probably does have a sensitive side (unfortunately, it's hard to find). So he's a fun character to mess around with. Mr. Green wouldn't hurt a flea. Everything else...well, that's another story
Miss Vivienne Scarlet:
Ah, Scarlet, the sexiest, flirtiest, (skankiest ~_^) woman of the bunch. Vain and fashionable, she has her eyes on jewels and money (preferably jewels and money belong to Boddy). She's probably the youngest one and the most ethnic in most US versions (she's usually pictured as an Asian woman. Though the latest US version of Clue has her as a white woman). In the British version, she's Mrs. Peacock's step-daughter 0.o (which is too weird for me)and she's secretly having an affair with her mother's fiance, Colonel Mustard 0.0. In some versions, she's Mr. Boddy's niece. But that's too weird for me as well. I like her book form more. She's usually found flirting with Boddy, Mustard, Plum, and Green. Her wardrobe and her behavior is usually considered rude by Mrs. Peacock. She's often found wearing lovely jewelry (which she probably stole from somewhere) and skimpy little outfits. She'll have you seeing red in a second (especially if she conks you on the head). But she's beautiful (and she knows it), she's egotistical, and she's a criminal like them all. She's apparently interested in Colonel Mustard as well. But as I said, my money is on Peacock. I think the Colonel would challenge Scarlet (and beat her) in a duel everytime she crossed him.
Mrs. Elizabeth Peacock:
Ah, prim, plump Mrs. Peacock. She's a well-refined lady, always minding manners even when she's stealing and killing like the others. She sometimes does 'rude things' herself but I don't think anybody minds. If she finds someone doing something out of line (talking with their mouth full, wearing sleeveless clothes, fighting, etc.), she's quick to say "How rude!" and "How vulgar!" She must have been married in the past but she's a widow and I don't know if she's looking for someone new. She's also Scarlet's stepmother in the British version and she's engaged to Colonel Mustard o.0. Rumor has it that her husband was murdered because he forgot to cover his mouth when he sneezed. But she denies to have anything to do with his murder. (Murderers display bad manners) She's always looking clean and proper, willing to teach the others some manners, and even has a hat with a peacock feather in it. She's interested in Colonel Mustard for some reason but I do think she's more likely to get him.
Mrs. Blanche White:
Ugh, I hate her first name. Blanche almost sounds like 'bleach'. Anyway, she's Mr. Boddy's maid and the only one that actually lives in the mansion with him. (The others just visit on weekends and holidays). At first, she was the cook but then everyone decided having her as a maid was better. In the British version, she may be Boddy (or Dr. Black's) most trusted friend. She's always standing up for him and looking out for his well being. But in the US version, she is nothing like that. She's always making faces and saying nasty things behind her boss' back. And she's not too fond of his guests either since they make her wait on them hand and foot. You can't blame the woman for planning to murder them all that one time (that's one of my favorite Clue short stories, "Mrs. White's Horrible Plan" when she found out everyone was making their wills to leave her with tons of money and stuff). She's probably the one stealing more things than the others since she always going in and out of the rooms. She knows very well where everything is. I think she may have been married too but there is no mention of her husband. Still, Mrs. White is clever. She may be the second smartest person other than Plum and her brains have helped her out. (Like the time Professor Plum cloned Mrs. Peacock and had no clue how to tell her apart from her clones) And sometimes they get her in trouble. Mr. Boddy and Mrs. White apparently have an affair in the British version, which results in Sergeant Gray (more explanation on that in Sgt. Gray's page).

MY THOUGHTS: Hmm, it's really hard for me to pick a favorite out of the Clue characters. I love each one for different reasons and they are all fun to play around with. I don't mind who I play as in the game as long as I have fun ^_^. Of course, having played Clue 1,000,000 times already, I'm pretty used to the game. I've read all the books thus far (even the Clue Jr. ones, which I don't enjoy as much). I had a PC game but it screwed over after one game >.> And I have seen the movie too many times for my own good. So what is next?
Heck, go to the fanfiction section and you'll see XD
