5 Easy Steps - Make Solar Panel At Home
Step 1
Energy seems to dictate much of our lives. We need energy to make breakfast, to take a shower, to drive to work and most of the time, to do our work. These days people have no idea how to survive without energy. Back in the day, we did not have such high energy requirements. Life was much simpler before we required so much energy. You could survive for pennies each day. Because of the economy, costs of power have risen to new all time highs. There are options when it comes to paying for electricity. Many people are seeking ways to spend less on monthly bills. You too can build your own solar panels.
I know it's exciting to get started, but please make sure you have completed all steps before moving ahead.
Step 2
You can spend very little money for your solar panel components. By putting solar panels to use in your own home, you may generate more energy then you can use and that may be able to be sold to the utility company. This is great news when you look at how high power bills are getting. In order to build your own, you need some simple items.
Step 3
The first item you need to get is a 12-16 volt solar panel. Next up is a rechargeable battery with a batter box. After these essential items, you need a DC meter that has the same voltage as the battery and you also need a DC input. These items will take energy stored in the solar panel and convert it to a form of power usable in your home. If you are planning to power AC appliances, you will also need an inverter.
Step 4
Completing your home made solar panel project will require that you have these parts. Once you have these, you are ready to begin the actual building process. Another tool you will need is a small drill to attach the DC meter and the DC input on the battery box top. Be sure to use insulated wiring when you are connecting the battery, which should always be a best practice. Be sure to only connect a single wire at one time. Then you also need to connect the DC inlet and the solar panel to the battery itself.
Finished
Wait for a sunny day to test out your project. Give it about 8 hours to suck up some sun and then try it out.
