One Man Vacuum Operated Brake Bleeder


The air fitting
you see on the top of the bleeder is connected to a venturi. The venturi
takes air pressure and creates approximately 20 inches of vacuum in the jar.
Once the air line has been hooked up to the venturi, vacuum will begin to
build in the container at a rate of 1 inch per second. This doesn't mean you
have to wait for the vacuum to build up to 20 inches, fluid will begin to
flow at 2 or 3 inches, so as soon as you take your clear hose and connect it
to the bleeder screw, the brake fluid will start to flow into the container,
slowly at first, then speeding up as you continue bleeding. In the
instruction booklet that comes with the bleeder, we suggest that if you are
bleeding a line or doing a complete flush to start at the master cylinder
and suck out the old dirty fluid, then fill with fresh brake fluid. You then
go to the farthest wheel first, making sure your bleeder screw is clean, you
then hook up your clear hose and open bleeder screw. When you see the fluid
change from old to new in the clear hose, that line is done, close the
bleeder, and move on to the next wheel. If you are working with a hoist, one
man can completely flush the average auto brake system in about ten
minutes. If the vehicle is sitting on it's wheels then one man can do the
job in about fifteen minutes. And there is no pumping the peddle. This does
not include the time needed for cleaning bleeder screws.

NOTE: This brake bleeder can do more than just bleed brakes. Flush out
your power steering reservoir, or flush your differential ( 90 weight ).
drain your rad, or if you were to over fill your automatic transmission you
can pull your dipstick and retrieve the overfill through the dipstick
tube.The list goes on. I hope this has been of some help to you, in your
