So, Mayor Oscar Goodman strolls into the hot stove league assemblage licking his chops like Sylvester eyeing up Tweety-Bird in a canary cage. Well, maybe he's onto something...and why not? Las Vegas will support a Major League Baseball franchise, and love every bit of it. His "prominence", knowing this, sidles up to the prominents, saying " Not how , but when?". After all folks, the mayor has a knack when dealing with luminaries. Just ask his former clientele. I'll betcha he's already cutting deals with the Wynn's and the Caesars' and the MGM's, so as to deflect costs away from the hardworking taxpayers of this town. Moreover, the aforementioned future stockholders would be part of the most magnificent, air cooled, roofed baseball park the 21th century historian/architects can create.
