Trevo Worm ( Chilecomadia moorei)


There is a worm species that is unique to the Chilean Central region. Its called the Trevo Worm ( Chilecomadia moorei) and it's the larval stage of the Chilean Moth. The worm feeds exclusively off the Trevo Plant , also native to the Chilean central region.

For Fisherman , it catches the fishes attention due to its fruty smell and due to thier high tolerance to both hot and cold temperatures , it makes it the ideal bait. They can be stored in the refrigerator at temperatures of 42-45 degrees F. for 3-4 months with minimal loss (About 5%).

For exotic animals ( Reptiles , Birds , Fish and others) its the best calcium source , and due to its soft body , it is easily digested. Makes it great for growing young and Pregnant pets.
