SK8 TRICK TIPS

Okay this is a webpage for all of the beginner skateboarders that want to learn the basic flatland moves, the ollie, kickflip, heelflip, pop-shuvit, frontside 180's, and variel flips.

I myself started sk8ing about 6 months ago. Okay the first and most important move is the Ollie.
Before you try to do any of these tricks, I highly recommend that you were a helmet and other safety pads.

Ollie-
Start off by trying the ollie while staying still. To perform an ollie you first place your feet in the ollie position, your front foot should be in the middle of the board and your back foot on the tail. Then simultaneously push down (pretty hard) on the tail of your board, slide your front foot up the board, and jump up. The next step is leveling yourself out in the air by pulling your back foot up level with your front foot. Prepare for landing. Then be proud that you have done an ollie.

Kickflip-
Okay, first things first to do the kickflip you should have the ollie down. First you must place your feet in the correct position, your front foot should be just behind the front bolts and with your heel hanging off the board, your back foot should be on the tail with your heel hanging off just a little. Then you need to ollie and slide your foot up the board like you would for like an ollie but when you slide your foot up you need to let it slide off the board then land on it.Prepare for the impact of the landing and ride off happily.

Heelflip-
I recommend that you can land kickflips (at least stationary) before you try these. Place your feet in the ollie position on your board, move your front foot to where your toes are hanging off the board. It also helps if you slide your front foot up just behind the front bolts.

Pop Shuvit-
