CEMETERIES - Book 1

Mansfield has a very active Historical Society. They are engaged in such projects as cleaning and repairing the headstones, transcribing the cemeteries and photographing most of the oldest headstones.

The Mansfield Library has copies of all the transcriptions, epitaphs, and photographs of the headstones. Photocopies of a page can be made. Although some photographs of the headstones are very clear, others may be very dark and almost unreadable, but the transcription and epitaphs would be clear.

Although not required, it is always a nice gesture to include a self-addressed stamped large envelope; and a small donation to the library would be nice, especially if you are requesting more than one copy.
