At CARE BUDDY ANGEL Inc. my goal is to help my clients achieve the best quality of life possible. I understand that one solution does not fit every situation so I take the time to listen and learn about each client's needs and preferences. This enables me to tailor a care program that maximizes the client's independence and dignity.
Understandably, most seniors prefer to stay in the familiar comfort of their own homes.
During my trips with my grandmother to the nursing home for her physical therapy sessions, We were told she would have to remain in the nursing home for a short time. I witnessed so many elderly residents sitting lonely without someone to read to them, someone to laugh with them, someone to walk and talk with them. It made me wonder what I would do if I were unable to visit my grandmother -- whether it was due to a demanding job or time-consuming family.
One day after spending the day with my grandmother, I decided to bring her home with me to live out the remainder of her life keeping a promise to her never to leave her in a nursing home. I cared for her, loved her, read to her, laughed and spent quality time with her at the park. It was a full-time job and one which I truly enjoyed.
When my grandmother passed, I wanted to make sure other families, with time or distance constraints, had a friend to spend time with their loved one. Having filled those shoes, I know how difficult it is to trust a stranger to care for someone so precious to you.
Wouldn’t it be nice to have someone help an ederly family member, friend or spouse?
Is that special loved one in a nursing facility? Do they talk to them?
Are they entertaining and fun to your loved one?
All of these things help in keeping their minds working and healthier.
Are you able to sleep or enjoy a normal life without having to worry about your loved one who lives at home and may be having a hard time getting themselves prepared for day to day living?
I as your Care Buddy Angel will be you as a step in family member to support you during your absent or time in need.
Let me sit and read a magazine, newspaper, read a favorite story or maybe go for a walk to the park.
Wouldn’t it be nice to let your loved one know that you have found them a friend to be there until you are able to be there?
I work solely for the purpose of those care givers that are in need of a Care Buddy Angel for their loved one at a given moment for a few hours a day, week or on a monthly basis.

About Us
My name is Mrs. Rubin I'm an Independent Care Buddy Angel, I work as an Consultant and Care giver for family members of the elderly and disabled. I am currently certified in CPR, HHA and PCA working with children and the elderly for over 17 years. I have a wonderful personality especially when it comes to the elderly, I have found that their needs are something I think a lot of people don’t see or understand. Most of the elderly are treated as people of the past even while their still a part of the world we so live in. Before returning back into the health field I have had the opportunity of opening my own childrens daycare for a number of years receiving a childcare grant and obtaining a certificate in Childcare, Elder care and Parent Involvement.
After a few years into my daycare business I closed, being next in line to take on the responsibility and promise that was made to my grandmother never to be placed in a nursing facility and at the age of 89 and unable to see, walk or know much of what was going on in the world It was not easy, her passing at the age of 92 and a promise, I knew I had a special gift the gift of making those last years a promise she would always remember a gift of giving, and as a Care Buddy Angel I would carry that gift on to a care giving family.
While I'am still in the field of caring for the elderly I came about forming my own Independent Care giving service, helping other families on my own free time with their Elders.
WHAT IS A CARE BUDDY ANGEL?
A Care Buddy Angel is a person who has had a number of years working in the health care field caring for the Elderly and Children but has taken it a bit further by stepping in to help with the family care giver giving them the opportunity to take some time off for them self.
A Care Buddy Angel basically works to accommodate the hours that are really needed in order to give a family member some free time.
As a Care Buddy Angel Consultant my time would be used to fill an empty place in some ones heart visiting in their home or visiting them in a nursing home facility for 2 - 6 hours per day.
My Care buddy Angel service is available morning,afternoons and evenings servicing in the Manhattan, Bronx, Jersey and Pennsylvania areas.
Care Buddy offers competitive rates and payment plans for Non medical home care and Nursing home care to seniors and the disabled. There are so many reasons for the elderly to feel that their still a part of what life still has to offer and so do you. I am your family members stand in friend.
Objective: To make each of my clients feel special and comfortable while building a relationship and some sort of Independence.
IN HOME SERVICES:
Lite Housekeeping: On a regular basis and have meals prepared to their specifications.
Lite Laundry: This service includes machine washing and ironing as well as delivery and pick-up of dry-cleaning.
Shopping: Accompany the customers to the grocery or I do their shopping as they specify.
Companionship: Accompany the clients to appointments, including medical and social.
Nursing Care:
Observing the appearance and demeanor of customers, including the disabled and
monitor medications: The company focuses on non-medical services.
These services include:
A) Companionship and friendly conversation
B) Shopping and errands
C) Emotional support
D) Monitor conditions in and around the home
E) Help with correspondence and reading to provide personal stimulation
F) Regularly inform family members of care experiences
G) Delivery of prepared or cooked meals
H) Polish Nails (no clipping)

L) Assist with Medication
M) Birthday awareness
N) Book making
O) Puzzles
