University of Kentucky Basketball
So far, Kentucky’s record is 18-2, ranking 5th in the Nation. Losing only to Kansas and North Carolina. Kentucky is on a winning streak. The most reason win was Tuesday February 8 against Florida at Rupp arena. Kentucky has won the last 8 meetings with Florida. The final score was Kentucky, 69, and Florida, 66. Leading Kentucky against the Gators was Azubuike who had 18, Chuck Hayes, who is wearing a plastic mask for a broken nose, had 9 rebounds, and the newcomer, Rajon Rondo, who dished out 4 assists and snatched up 3 steals. After going down by 7 at the half, Kentucky charged back. Kentucky won with the help of lightning fast Rajon Rondo who is absolutely relentless when it comes down to basketball. Normally a very low percentage shooter from the Charity Line, Rondo made 8 out of 10. Rondo, who chose Kentucky over Illinois the only unbeaten team remaining in the NCAA (Boston College lost To Notre Dame on the 8th) is one of the 2 freshman starters on the Cats. Roberson had 23 points for the Gators, along with Lee who had 7 rebounds, and Brewer, who had 3 assists. Matt Walsh who had 18 has never beaten the Wildcats. The next game that the Wildcats play is on February 12 at 3:00 pm against Georgia at Rupp Arena. My prediction is a win for the
Cats.
