17th: Little Weighton.
The ‘Wildcat of the Wolds’ seen by taxi driver when he encountered a large black
“creature” in the middle of the road.

Swanland, East Yorkshire.
The police helicopter searched the Swanland Area outside of Hull after another
sighting of the ‘Wildcat of the Wolds’.
“A large black-panther type animal was seen crossing a field. A thorough search of the
area was made but nothing found. (You never know it may have heard them coming!)
Police said: “We received a call from a member of the public claiming they had seen
something like a panther heading across a field near the junction of Riplingham Road
and Great Gutter Lane.
Recent sightings in the area from Hull, Driffield, Selby, Bridlington and Withernsea.

Hull taxi driver saw the ‘Wildcat of the Wolds’ near Rowley Manor.
