My Name is Shishir Dhakal and I am a professional and fully accredited trekking guide and organizer. I was born and raised in Nepal, and have nearly a decade and a half of experience in the tour and trekking industry. Throughout this time, I have developed an intimate knowledge of the geography, history, culture, and climate of the region and am more than happy to answer any questions you may have. About Shishir
I was born in the ancient Gorkha Village in central Nepal and now reside in the capital, Kathmandu, with my wife and two young children. I have worked in the tour and trekking industry since 1996 and LOVE what I do. I am government certified, wholly trained in first aid, and have an exceptional safety record. I am well known throughout the trekking and tour industry and have worked hard to build a reputation as both an honest and reliable operator.

My main area of specialty is trekking. I organize treks throughout the Himalayan region including the Annapurna, Everest, Langtang, and Tibetan ranges.
