As a Transportation Controller I managed a staff and all aspects of Transportation Logistics for 14 subsidiary companies located throughout the world including but not limited to; International Import/Export-ocean/air, Domestics LTL and Small Parcel air & ground shipments.
My responsibilities included; freight and services contract negotiations (domestic and international), customs brokerage, managing day to day operations, resolving claim issues, shipping/receiving errors, inventory discrepancies, special rating/routing of freight, export document preparation, freight bill auditing, online shipping, electronic billing, addressing customer concerns and internal inquiries for 14 subsidiary companies. I have also taken on the added responsibility of Project Management Analyst for the 3PL Logistics side of the business.
Other areas of expertise; International/Domestic purchasing, production planning, and product development.
My credentials also include certification in the following areas; Import/Export Documentation and Traffic, International Trade and Customs, Export Regulations, Negotiating & Contracting, Sourcing & E-Procurement, Purchasing, Intermediate Excel, Access, Advanced Excel.
