THE SLINGERS CARD TEAM
Hello and welcome to the Slingers Card Team webpage. This page is dedicated to nine card players who battle their way through games of '31' during breakfast and lunch breaks during the week.
The object of the game '31' is to get a total of thirty one with three cards all of the same suit, or three of a kind which will give you thirty and a half. Players must get at least sixteen to advance, the player or players with the lowest score will fail to advance to the next round.
The scoring system is as follows, 15pts for the winner, 10pts for second place and 5pts for third place. However if a player gets Ace King Queen they recieve all of the available points and the game is over.
After the final game which takes place after breakfast on the Friday, the weekly winner recieves the prestigeous trophy.
The team are as follows, the captain Wayne, Dave, Mat, Johnny, Ozzy, Ads, Ian, Lance and Jimmy.
