LIL DRAGONS ARE ROARING THIS YEAR!! WE WELCOME THREE NEW MEMBERS TO THE GROUP, WYATT, JACOB, AND AUSTIN! THEY JOIN KALI, ROBBIE, AND LAURA IN LEARNING WHAT KARATE IS ALL ABOUT! SO FAR THE DRAGONS HAVE EARNED RED AND BLUE BELT STRIPES FOR KNOWING THEIR STRIKES AND KICKS. THEY ALSO EARNED BALANCE AND BLOCKS PATCHES FOR THEIR UNIFORM! WAY TO GO LIL DRAGONS!!
All of our Lil Dragons are now yellow belts! In April they also have earned their red stripe for basics as they have demonstrated great up blocks, down blocks, and all of their strikes! They did a great job learning their Lil Dragon Form for the tournament and showed good focus and listening skills while introducing themselves to the judges! Lil Dragons have earned their Listening Patch for their uniforms and will receive them at their first May class!! Great job, Lil Dragons! Sensei is very proud of you!
CONGRATULATIONS TO LIL DRAGONS KALI AND ELLIOT FOR EARNING THEIR SELF DEFENSE ORANGE STRIPE!! THEY BOTH REMEMBERED THEIR UP AND DOWN BLOCKS AND DEFENSIVE STANCE, AND VERBAL BOUNDARIES ("STOP! YOU'RE TOO CLOSE!). YAY!!! LIL DRAGONS!!
Lil'Dragons Kali & Laura did their part in raising funds for the local food pantry and the animal shelter by kicking their way around the dojo's 5 kicking stations! Between the two of them they kicked a total of over 1200 kicks!! WAY TO GO, LIL DRAGONS!!

CONGRATULATIONS to Laura, Kali, & Robbie for earning their LIL'DRAGON yellow belts in February!! Along with earning their balance patches, the students did a great job showing moms, dads, and sensei their blocks, kicks, strikes, and stances!!
