_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ All the classes have been getting down to business with our in house tournament just around the corner! Tournament prep lessons started for those students who are looking for more training specific to their tournament events such as forms, self defense, and weapon forms. Our advanced class has been working on the creative sword form and a couple of students have begun the second cane/stick form also! Beginner students are practicing the clutch set for the nunchuku and continuing on learning Heian Shodan. Lil Dragons are working on their very own form "Lil Dragon Form". Their goal is to perform it all by their self! A reminder to all students who are planning on entering the board breaking event, to work with your family at home on a "skit" or presentation of your breaking. Be creative such as performing rolls or cartwheels into a break, use different striking techniques, maybe put together a little form movement before going into the breaking....get creative!! Beginners class has earned their round kick patch by demonstrating their balance, accuracy, targeting and control! Lil Dragons class has earned their Health Patch by learning and remembering to cover their sneezes and coughs, use a tissue properly, wash with soap and water, and to brush, brush brush those teeth!!
