OCTOBER'S NEWS!!
Welcome to our new students who have started their black belt journey! Joining our current students in LIL DRAGONS class, Kali, Laura,and Robbie, are white belts Wyatt and Jacob! All LIL DRAGONS have been working hard on developing their focus, respect, balance, as well as their blocks, strikes, and kicks! Already, they have earned their red stripe for basics and blue stripe for kicks and they have even earned LD patches for balance and blocks!! Great job, Lil Dragons!
We have started a beginners' class this year which quickly filled up with 5 new white belts and our student of the month, yellow belt Elliot! A big welcome goes out to Sam, Richie, Aidan, Kayden,and Will! Everyone has done a great job of learning their rank material in strikes, blocks, kicks, and combos along with rolls, self defense skills, agility training, and nunchuka! Each student has earned their red stripe and their blue stripe during the month of October along with taking the Belt Patch Challenges for stances and front kick! Awesome Effort, Kempo Kids!!
Returning to class this year in the advanced Kempo Kids is Riley, Christian, Ryan, and Colby! Great dedication, students! Quickly testing into the class we are proud to announce that Jillian showed great effort and determination in learning her form and combos so that she could test for her purple belt and black Kempo Gi! Along with Colby who tested for his Blue with Green stripe belt, both students demonstrated their perseverence and knowledge of their rank material! Congrats to both students on a job well don
Riley, Christian, and Ryan also have been busy learning their new rank material and have already earned their red and blue stripes also! Way to go, Kids!
We ended the month of October with our 2nd Holiday Harvest Fest. New this year was our Haunted Halloweenville Maze, Pumpkin seed spitting contest, The Good Witch Storyteller, and Monster Mash Freeze Dance! We also had our pumpkin rolling races, tractor ride thru Halloweenville, and trick or treating! Everyone had a blast! Watch for the video of it coming soon!
