WHAT IS IT?

The CampoCatcher is the world's first interactive rod holder and fish sensor. It flashes lights when a fish is on the line and sounds alarms when a fish has been hooked and even tells you when a fish is on the line! (grab the rod)
The rod holder has a super sensitive microswitch feature located at the top of the rod stand that can sense the lightest tension created only by a fish! The product also has a special adjustable tension feature to combat strong currents and wave conditions when using the rod holder.
The rod holder itself is approximately 3 feet high and can be adjusted to suit most rods on the market. The rod holder is collapsible into three units, the piercing fork bottom unit, mid section of the rod holder cylinder cradle and the top section where the electronic sensor is located.
HOW DOES THE CAMPOCATCHER WORK?

A specially designed electronic microswitch activated by tension created only by a fish! The switch is fully concealed, is virtually waterproof and will also work under water (although not recommended).
The switch is patented and designed specifically for sensing fish bites.
HOW DO ANGLERS USE THE CAMPOCATCHER?

*** Once an angler has cas the fishing line with bait on hook into the water, the angler places the rod in the rod holder
*** The angler then feeds the fishing line through the fishing line guide to the hook sensor, located at the top of the rod stand
*** The angler then adjusts the sensitivity of the unit to the fishing line tension and the water conditions. (high sensitivity for still water conditions, lower sensitivity for strong currents)
*** Wait until a fish bites or strikes, watch the lights flash, listen to the buzzer or voice alarm (grab the rod) for a fish bite.
*** When a fish bites, quickly unhook the fishing line from the sensor, pull back on the flip cylinder rod holder and start reeling in your catch!

Campo Industries, a local South East Queensland company will undertake the international launch of their 'Campocatcher' recreational fishing product, a high tech stainless steel rod holder and fish sensor device, at the upcoming Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show on 22-25 May, 2003.
The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show will be part of a concurrent launch of the Campocatcher product in the USA with a nationally advertised infomercial, an opportunity that will put the local Queensland company in reach of the largest recreational fishing industry market in the world.
