This source is an electronic version of Washington's autobiographical
book. I only used his "Atlanta Compromise" speech out of it to explain in my information what Washington's views actually were. I did not read all of it, of course, but what I did read was very interesting.

This source is an article from a magazine that compares Washington's views with those of another modern writer, Joel Kotkin. It explains Washington's views and how he used those views to inspire other African Americans to benifit from them. It also gives a little information on the National Negro Business League. This cite helped me with my research on Washington's ability to impact the thoughts of others.
