Family owned and operated since 1913. Four generations of BUTLERS have dedicated their lives as true and faithful stewarts of the land. The Butler family has maintained a keen interest in Conservation practices required by a healthy environment. A concerted effort has been made to develop a well balanced habitat that supports many types of plant and wildlife on the privately owned BUTLER land as well as having supported efforts in reclaiming public lands and National forests. As a result today wildlife is thriving on the BUTLER RANCH as well as in much of the surrounding area.
The BUTLER family is engaged in many activities.
FARMING: Mike Butler oversees the farming operations of wheat, hay, and grass seeds.
RANCHING: Mike Butler takes intense interest in breeding his Longhorn cattle, and assists with the exotics ( Elk, Fallow deer, Texas Dall sheep).
HUNTING: During COLORADO DOW regular seasons excellent Mule Deer, Elk and Antelope hunting. Please, call us for reservations and arrangements for the best private hunt of your life. We offer modern cabins and full assistance for bagging a record animal.
We also raise private herds of record Elk Bulls, Fallow Deer, Texas Dall Sheep. Make plans to harvest one of these, anytime of the year you feel like getting out and having a lot of fun claiming one of our record bulls or bucks as your own.

LUMBER REMANUFACTURING: Dick is in charge of the Manufacturing plant assisted by some long time employees. He takes pride in producing quality Survey stakes & Lath, cut stock, fingerjointing stock, "ECO-SWEEP" floor sweeping Compound, etc.

TRUCKING: Aleka is the senior driver of the trucking fleet, taking much delight in driving her 525 horses in all 48 States.
The equipment consists of excellent Kenworth trucks, Ravens Flatbed trailers and Wilkens Walking floor Trailers. BUTLERS take pride in serving the industry with dependable on-time delivery. The trucks and trailes are fully equiped and all drivers are very weathered and experienced to carry your goods and deliver anywhere safely.
