Bump In the Nites of Wise

Okay this is a seris of pages that include investatgations of the spooks and haunts of Wise co and surrounding co.s in Southwest VA. Me and 3 of my friends have investagated and will provide the honest truth to those brave enough to read it.

BACKGROUND
okay this is located just past the Guest River Gorge in Coeburn, VA. Its and old road closed. It is called Monster Road by the locals well. the ones you can find that'll talk about it. Okay back in the 1950's and 60's there were sightings of a huge black thing the police even saw it and soon the papers were calling it a monster. Though nothing ever came of this sighting and it eventually disappered strange things began happening. Fog, screaming, mysterioushand prints, black shadowy figures. Perhaps the most alarming are the unexplained wreaks that happen there. Another sasd event took place there in 1959 a 16 year old girl was raped and killed there. So we decided to investagate and see if we saw anything.

WHAT HAPPENED
Okay it started on Sept 30, 2000 me, Ian, DOug and Kristen decided to go spook hunting. We decided on Monster Road becasue it was close to where I live. Great Reason! About a mile from the deadly curve my car went from 1/2 tank of gas to E. We managed to get back to town some how. Me and Kristen thought it was a sign to go back. But we didn't. We pulled up the road until we was about 10 feet from the sign. Left the doors unlocked and got out. As soon as we got out all of us said we felt like a cold bucket of water had drenched us. We walked up to the sign very close together. Ian was about to go under. When DOug (raised hunting so he knows how to listen) siad "stop listen!" Someone was behind us. In the flashlight beam there was a shadow. Then we looked at the hood of my car there was smoke. Oh shit Kristen and I panicked because at that very second we heard the unearthly scream of a girl. We decided to atleaast try to get my car away from the road and down to the gorge we knew police patrol that road so we could get some help. Doug got in and said my car was cool I was shaking to bad to drive. We pulled back and there was smoke and fog rising from the ground. We left looking back once it was still there.

THE NEXT DAY
We questioned some people we knew from Coeburn. I donot have their permission to use their names so i will use the first intial.
D "stay away from there alot of people have wreaked including my uncle. He was unconscience but when he came to he said he was going by that sign he got cold and turned the heat on when suddenly he heard a scream and his truck illed with smoke. theres also been a couple of teenagers killed because their car wreacked with no apparent reaason. No drugs alcohol or speeding. Most of my family just aviods that place at night. You all should to>"

C."I haven't lived in coeburn for a while but when I was A teenager that was a place to aviod. I had a friend killed there. He was always the designated driver so he was drunk and there was no reason for him to do it. I don't know thats a creepy place in thee day time I don't even like hunting there. You couldn't pay me to go there at night."

most people didn't want to talk about. some just said that place is better left alone.

CONCLUSION
We saw no explantion for the smoke when we went back during the daylight. But did find handprints all over the outside of my car. None of us had touched those places. We don't know for sure what that is and talking about it gives me chills. Perhaps it is the spirt of a violated young girl looking for friends. Will we go back. Maybe to get pictures.
