Grace Prayer Bulletin # 4
A Note From a Missionary
This note was sent to me this morning and felt it warranted to be sent on. Noble Vater is under the Reformed Baptist Missionary Service in Porter Rico, a US Territory.
Dear (Grace Prayer Connection),
Thanks for your letter and interest in us. You caught me at a bad time for writing, as my wife and I leave May 13 and will be in NJ for 5 days to attend our youngest daughter's graduation. As you are probably aware, my wife has been quite sick with cancer and receives hemodialysis 3 days a week. She has been in better spirits lately, in part due to a pain medicine that helps her cope. I would like to compare notes with you later concerning Spanish speaking Reformed Baptist churches, and I will get some autobiographical stuff together along with my own prayer request. For now, just for yourselves and those close to you, I would appreciate your prayers for this trip, as it will not be easy on my wife. Also, I am to give the SS class and preach Sun a.m. at Grace Reformed Baptist Church in Flemington, NJ, and would appreciate prayer for that ministry as well as for our own men who will fill the pulpit in PR.
Yours by grace,
Noble Vater
