Poetry

THIS IS 100% ORIGINAL, BY ME. PLEASE DON'T RIP IT OFF.

Shadows in the Dark

Shadows in the dark,
Are very rarely seen.
But for these to be sought,
One’s senses must be keen.

For this remarkable phenomena,
To be sought out and found,
One’s journey must begin,
Nowhere else but the ground.

This journey will lead you through,
Darkness and light.
This journey will make you sleep,
every single night.

You will find the shadows,
For all the world to see,
And you will be added to the list,
Of everyone but me.

Similar

We are the same,
We are the same.
So, for our crimes,
There is none to blame.

We do our wrongs,
We do our rights.
We live our days,
And sleep our nights.

We go to school,
Or to work.
We see a fool,
And give a smirk.

We talk,
We scream.
We die,
We dream.

We are the same,
We are the same.
So, in our eyes,
There is none to blame.

As you held me close

I thought that you loved me,
I thought that you cared,
As you held me close,
And gently stroked my hair.

I thought that our love was pure,
I thought I t was true love.
As you held me close,
And gave me a shove.

I definitely should’ve seen,
That our love was worn.
As you held me close.
My heart is torn.

Winter of my Life

Mist upon the windows,
Frost upon the door,
It’s becoming winter,
It’s not summer anymore.

The leaves have already fallen,
There’s a chill in the air.
I am quite content,
Alone without a care.

Jack Frost has already nipped my,
Little nose with cold.
Frankly me dear,
This girl is getting old.

Invincible

Why did you have to die?
What if you couldn’t cry?
Why did it have to end?
I can no longer pretend.

I thought you were invincible,
You knew my principles.
Your view of life was spacious,
And I wasn’t so gracious.

When you were broken,
When I should’ve spoken.
You were already gone,
Up rose a new dawn.

Secret

I’ve got a secret,
That you’ll never know.
I’ll never tell you,
My secret I won’t show.

You could guess a million things,
And none of them are true.
But you’ll never, ever know,
Because I’ll never tell you.

Too young, still gone

He was my friend,
He was yours too.
He was treasured,
This much is true.

But now he’s gone,
He is no more.
We all loved him,
Now are eyes are sore.

We are stronger now,
More than we’ll ever be,
So, he’

You’ll Be Fine

Don’t worry my dear,
I am here.
Do not fear,
I come with cheer.

Do not cry,
Why,
Let yourself die?
I do not lie.

Your problems are mine,
This is best, don’t decline,
It constricts like a vine,
Don’t worry,
You’ll be fine.

A Time Such as This

A time such as this,
Is truly very rare.
So please don’t carry on,
Like you don’t have a care.

So please say hello,
And ask me how I’ll be.
Cause I’m lost without you,
And you’re lost without me.

I don’t ask much of you,
Just a hug, not a kiss.
Because I’ll always cherish,
A time such as this.
