You are looking for a safe, secure "home away from home" where your child can learn, play, and grow. I have designed a nurturing, creative world for infants to help their minds and bodies develop. I work with parents to make a smooth transition into my program, and have it happen with smiles on both your child's face and your own. I am committed to creating a strong bond with your child to ensure the best start in life.I understand that the first five years of a child's life is an amazing time of growth and learning that serves as the foundation for future stages of development. I provide the right environment and experiences to meet these rapidly developing abilities. I emphasizes the importance of positive, supportive interactions between myself and your child. I sing, read, and talk to your child to help him or her with this critical development. Age-appropriate activities promote cognitive and social development in a warm, nurturing environment.

Your Infant's Day:
I want your infant to feel as happy and "at home" as possible every day. So, with your help, I will identify your infant’s rhythms for feeding, sleeping, and playful interaction, then strive to mimic them as closely as possible I believe this allows for a more nurturing and secure day for your infant.

First Words:
Language and communication development is most profound during a child’s first three years of life while the brain is developing and maturing. First Words activities help develop skills in an environment rich with sounds, sights, and consistent exposure to speech and language.

Making Friends:
Feelings of confidence, pride, trust, friendship, and humor are all part of social-emotional development. Making Friends activities promote early social interactions and conversations, develop facial expressions to communicate, and support self-identity.

Prime Time for Learning Spanish:
Did you know the best time to learn a foreign language is in the early years of childhood when a young child's mind is exceptionally open to language acquisition? That's why I created a Spanish program for children four and older designed to introduce them to the thrill of learning a new language with parent's permission.

In developing Brenda's Spanish Adventures, I combined educational research with feedback from parents, school teachers, I included the most important elements from all of these sources to maximize both educational effectiveness and key developmental skills. Your child will delight in:Learning familiar Spanish greetings; colors, numbers and terms for family members, body parts, clothes, pets, and farm animals.

Practicing Spanish by talking to myself and other children
Learning in a fun, relaxed manner with music, rhythm and movement, games, puzzles, and picture cardsDiscovering the Spanish culture through books and stories.

I'll also give your child a kit with Brenda's Spanish Adventures materials, including an activity book, word cards, crayons and more, to help him or her continue learning Spanish at home.
