Hey everybody, thank you all for visiting my very first website. I'm Bre, master builder (LOL) of Little House Country Collectibles. Larry, who'll you meet in my next page, is my partner and co-hort and has taught me more than he probably even knows. He is an avid model railroader who really know's his stuff and is helping me to fulfil a dream of mine. Anyways, he's a real sweetheart and you'll be meeting him soon.

The photo's above are only a sampling of the awesome little houses I create. Of course I love them all but I'm a little biased ... lol.

My little cabin is log sided and has a stone chimney and is probably my favorite. It has a finished interior complete with a flickering stone fireplace, hardwood floors and a sleeping loft. The cabin shown is without landscaping however you may order your Little House with or without it.

The Stone Cottage was built with pebbles we found wherever we went on our 4-wheelin rides through the woods here in Minnesota. Most of the materials I used for the landscaping were also collected during these rides through the woods ... hmmmm, seems like we spend lots of time in the woods ... lol. The roof was made from pine cone petals which were found ... yep, you guessed it ... in the woods, hehehe.

The Country Church has 6 tiny pews inside along with the podium from where the preacher gives his Sunday sermons.
I was inspired to build this little Church when my Brother was diagnosed with having a brain aneurysm. Being in different states made the waiting difficult while he was in surgery and building this little church helped to keep my hands and mind busy. Needless to say, it is truly filled with prayers and blessings.

Most of my little houses are between 4" and 7"h of various widths. It's hard to give exact measurements as no two houses are alike, some larger and some smaller which means they are each one of a kind. Remember, these are rustic little creations all made by hand. I don't follow little blueprints (LOL@little)or use any patterns. Nothing is square or perfect, that's what makes them so cute and fun for me to build.

As this is my first website I'm still learning plus I'm recuperating from a broken wrist (don't ask ... lol) so bear with me. I'm moving a little slower than usual but will soon be up to speed.
