Subaru Brat
The 1987 Subaru Brat. The only four wheel drive sub-compact truck available. Shift on the fly four wheel drive, four speed dual range transmission, A.C., and T-tops. Unique ride if there ever was. And you don't have to worry about going down the road and passing another one just like yours. This Brat has been mine for 5 1/2 years and it was love at first site. Painted with Dupont Imron in black at Willis Paint and Body shop of Aurora,NC. Over the years I have added a Webber carb, 2-inch turbo exhaust, Accell ignition coil and wires, 180degree thermostat, Gabriel gas struts(they retain the factory style height adjustments),CD player with four JBL speaker and Cooper 195-70-13 Classic radials. Will be installing new Firestone Fr-410 185-80-13 radials soon to increase ground clearance .5-inches more. Hope to start on the interior this winter.
