BEGIN YOUR JOURNEY HERE!!!
Welcome to the starting page of Born2Babble, a website that was launched on March 21, 2004 by Ainsley Jo Phillips (a.k.a. AJ) of Anderson, Indiana USA (Yours Truly).
FOR STARTERS, I'VE GOT MORE THAN ONE WEBSITE!
I might not be the smartest thing when it comes to computers, the Internet, etc., but I do have at least one thing figured out--that being that it's wise to have more than one website. That way, you can express yourself at one website in ways that might not be available at the other one. Anyway, websites, writing sites, message boards, etc. all come in handy for letting as many people as possible know what you're about, what you stand for, and what you do for fun!
If you would like to see my other major website, click on the smiley face--don't worry! It's definitely not a porno site or anything like that!!!

The rest of this page will change fairly frequently, because I'm going to be using it to write a newsy letter whenever the mood strikes me. I'll generally let at least a day pass between letters, but I might write more than one letter some days. I also might go for several days without writing a letter--this being especially true when I'm on a road-trip and not around a computer. For the most part, I'll probably write a new letter between one and three times per week. When I get ready to post a new day's worth of mail, the last letter (or letter group) will be deleted.

Please make yourself at home, sign my guestbook, etc.--and, if you want to get some history of this place, read my ramblings in other letters.
I've decided to leave this page pretty much the same until about the middle of June, but I'll be making changes to other pages from time to time as I see fit--though not before May 10, if then.
Actually, probably won't be changing much around here until the latter part of May or even a little into June.
However, there are parts of the site that will change as they come in from other places.
All in all, it's probably worth coming back to, so I hope you do.
In order to understand where I'm coming from now, please check out this link:
Goodbye For Now!!! (The Sequel)
That's about it for now. . .

Hi!
Because I'm just now getting ready to launch this website for its Grand Opening, I'm going to be leaving not only this but all other letters on this page up until April 22.
At that time, all of the letters (including this one) will be gone and replaced with a new one.
With the exception of a little bit from Saturday night (Easter Eve) until sometime Easter Monday, I won't be back online before April 19, unless my plans change, as I'll be going on a couple of road-trips.
Will have lots to tell you upon my return.
In the meantime, enjoy this site, and have a very happy Easter!!!
Blessings!

Hi!
My original plans were to change this letter between once and three times a week, but--since I'm building this website and haven't gotten around to doing a lot to show it off yet--I'm going to leave both this little update note up and my first letter to you, which is right under it.
In the meantime, when I'm both home and have the time, I'll be concentrating on working on my other pages before getting back to writing another letter on this one, so, for now, what you see is what you get--though the rest of the place should prove to be pretty active.
In fact, I'll be writing a third letter to put on top of this one in a few days.
After that, all three letters will stay in place for awhile and, then, will be erased and replaced with something entirely new!
Laters. . .

Hi!
Here's hoping that, when you read this, you're in the midst of having a wonderful day.
As for myself, I'm doing as well as can be expected, given the circumstances (specifically, that my dad passed away Groundhog Day morning).
Although his passing is, to date, the worst thing I've ever had to go through in 51 years of living, I'm comforted in knowing that he's with Jesus and no longer deals with discomfort and limitations.
I can only begin to imagine what the other side of life is like, but I believe that he still plays an active part in my life. I know that he's only a thought and/or a memory away!
Over at Epinions.com, I've set up a tribute to Daddy where I'll be adding to it until (through) May 9--which will be the 58th anniversary of my folks' first date. I'm also putting special tributes around other places as well and will be sharing them here at a later time.
Today, though, I'll just stick with sharing the Epinions.com one, which is called Raymond Woodford Phillips--Most Helpful & Rated Five Stars But Worth Many More!.
Spring is coming to Indiana, and I'm looking forward to taking some little road-trips--starting with one this Tuesday.
I have no idea where I'm going--as long as it leads to a motel with a roll-in shower-to-die-for and at least one cut-above-average dining experience, because the main purpose of this trip is going to be rejuvenation.
Yesterday, I went shopping and got six new pairs of stretch-denim jeans (2 each of dark-blue, light-blue, and black). In case you're wondering, my current jean size is 28 regular--which will clue you in on the fact that there's a lot of me to love!!!
Another thing you might be wondering is if I'm in a wheelchair (because of wanting a room with a roll-in shower).
The answer to that question is "No."
However, I do have a mild-to-moderate physical challenge in the form of a right trick-knee, so it's safer to have the shower level with the floor.
If I could say anything good about my trick-knee, one thing I might say is that it has proven itself to be a great studmuffin-catcher--and here's one shining example of what I'm talking about!!!
Well, I'm going to close this letter and get on with working a little bit more on this site before I go all out to launch it.
Since this is my first letter, I think I'll leave it up until after I return from my last-part-of-the-week road-trip.
Both trips will be 2-day-1-night trips with the first one being where I make up the destination as I go along and the second one being where I'm going somewhere specific (catching up with some friends I haven't seen in awhile).
I have several other projects and road-trips planned for this year, too.
Although I did some traveling last year, I was mostly close-to-home with my main focus on Daddy.
Anyway, it's time to close this letter and get on with building this site a little more.
Will write you again in a few days!
Blessings!

P.S. I think that I'm going to do something rather interesting with the links at the bottom of this page.
Some of them have to do with this website (an information one about how you, too, can create a website as well as ones to navigate you to different pages), but I think that the others can simply be filled with favorite links, so I'm going to hand-pick some I think you'd enjoy reading and will leave them up for awhile before replacing them with other ones, so keep an eye on the links as well!
