Hello, you've found my site - probably by accident, but "welcome" anyway.
I suppose if you've read this far, then you probably want to know more about this eccentric Chemistry teacher / photographer fromthe Isle of (sunny)Man - home of the world famous TT Races!!!
You'll find a link to the main TT site on this page and also to some of the other things I'm interested in.
1. Music.
I've got quite eclectic tastes in music (as well as other things), ranging from classical (Prokofiev) through folk & blues and as far as "progressive" rock - I'm giving my age away here, aren't I?
2. Photography.
I used to love photographing the TT races, but these days work commitments mean I'm off-island whilst they're on. However, some of my other work can be found by following the link. Yn Chruinnaght is a Celtic Music Festival which is held every July & is recommended as a really good week of fun & friendship (& a fair bit of drinking - hic!).
3. Military History.
I'm especially "keen" on the Napoleonic/Regency period, hence the link to Sharpe. I confess to having read & been a fan of Bernard Cornwell's nautical books first, then I discovered Sharpe & the rest, as they say, is history (no pun intended!). I've just got back froma tour of the Peninsular War Battlefields with Midas Tours and the SAS & can recommend them to you, if you're that way inclined.
4. ...and it was through the TV series of Sharpe that I discovered my favourite actor - Sean Bean! (need I say more...........?)
