My nephew, Anthony R. Jacobson and three friends (Diana Panczyk, David Opel II and a third teen) were driving down a back hilly rode in the town of Lockport, IL. on May 9, 2003. For some unknown and unexplained reason the driver was going approx. 80-100 mph in a 45 mph zone. Anthony, Diana and David were all killed on impact. The fourth teen did survive and is still recovering from his injuries. We wish him well.
This is a traggic accident that could happen to anyone. This webpage, I hope, will send a message out there too all the teens that get behind the wheel of a car. There is no reason to speed. You think it's fun and you think your cool, but your not. Most high speed driving ends in a crash similiar to this. Please think before you drive. Drive safe and do the speed limit.
