We first started because of the DESPERATE need to find alternatives to the TOXIC Chemicals that were all that we could find on our supermarket shelves! Sodium Laurel Sulphate is one of the most widely used ingredients in 90% of our Shampoo's, and also in many products such as Toothpaste, Shower Gels, Bubble Baths and is in some Baby Shampoos. The side effects this Terrible stuff is known to cause ranges from Hair Loss(and remember that this is in most SHAMPOOS!), Skin Irritation, Cataract Damage and Incorrect Cataract Formation!
These horrifying toxins are what pushed us to create a range of more natural products that we could use every day without risking our health or our families in the process.
The BLISSFUL ESSENCE has many beautiful products in its range, including:
Aloe Vera products such as a Moisture Whip with Apricot Kernel Oil and Vitamin E, a Facial Cleanser/Foaming Shave Gel (this is a BRILLIANT product and makes your skin feel AMAZING!) and an After Sun/Aftershave Moisturiser with many uses, but made originally to help heal Sunburn! It really does work by the way! (We have had quite a few chances this summer to test it out!)
Our wonderful range includes Shampoo and Conditioner filled with wonderful Oils, Extracts and Botannicals that are Sodium Laurel and Laureth Sulphate FREE, and are available for Dry, Normal and Oily Hair.
We also have a SLS-free Shower/Bath Gel in Lavender, Watermelon, Tangerine and Gardenia fragrances that are beautiful to use and smell divine!
