Counting cards while playing blackjack online is different from land based casinos in that the player does not know when the dealer is shuffling. It is unknown when the the dealer shuffles at 98% of all online casinos. Shuffling could occur after every hand, to give the casino (house) an edge in gaming odds. Less shuffling favors the card counter when there are more 10s in the deck than normal.

A good strategy is to just follow basic single deck Blackjack strategy and leave the card counting out. Counting cards is only good when the player knows that the dealer shuffles after 2 or more hands.

The following tips will better your odds of winning blackjack at an online casino:

Always claiming a casino bonus should increase your odds of cashing-out ahead. Then, a cash-out balance goal should be set. I would stick to it using all the Effort you can muster.

1. Stand on 12s when a dealer shows a 3, 4, 5 and 6. |

18. Split 7s when the dealer shows a 2 through 7 |
19. Split 8s when the dealer shows a 2 through 9 and 11 |
20. Split 9s when the dealer shows a 2 through 6, 8 and 9 |
21. Never split 10s |
22. Always split As |

I would not play for fun over your playthrough requirement, after your cash-out goal is reached. I would simply stop gambling and cash out, once the playthrough requirements are met.
