Welcome to BAJAN HOT pepper products .The 40 plus year old family owned and operated company BIRD'S NEST FOODS, mainly recognized for its internationally known Restaurant & Bar, has been creating and making its own Hot Sauces & seasoning blends from it's inception back in 1967.These tantalizingly flavourful blends have been tested & perfected to customer satisfaction during this extensive period of operation.Due to overwhelming response to these"in-house" pepper sauces & chopped seasonings,which tranforms a simple snack or meal into a gourmet delight,providing authentic Barbadian/Caribbean flavor for both locals & tourist alike,many requests were made from customers to purchase bottles of these products to take home.After fulfiling these requests on a small scale, recycling rum bottles,jam jars & what ever containers were at hand,the idea of offering these products officially to the wider public was developed.Hence the Trademarked "BAJAN HOT" gourmet line of pepper products was created.Master Blender Rose & son Ricardo of Bird's Nest,at the request of friends & customers team together to bring their well loved sauces direct to your kitchen The product includes a gourmet line of pepper sauces,chopped seasonings,bottled peppers and other spicy sauces and preserves ideal for chefs & home cooks, to add zest to snacks,sandwiches & meals for a true West Indian flair.

DISCRIPTION OF SAUCES
(a)Yellow Chunky Bajan pepper sauce:This is the traditional mustard based hot sauce of Barbados,made with the local Scotch Bonnet pepper and blended with onions,garlic,turmeric,with mango,golden apple or pau-paw added for extra flavor,colour and chunkyness.Enhances any meal.
(b)Chilli Pepper pepper sauce:This hot sauce is made with the red hot Cayenne pepper with all of it's health and medicinal values including it's high content of antioxidants,vitamins C and A.Blended with onions and garlic.Very good in soups and stews.
(c)Green Jalapeno pepper sauce:This is made with America's most popular pepper the Jalapeno.A milder pepper,well known as a pizza toppin or in Mexican cooking,chillies,salsas,dips and Pepper Poppers(cheese stuffed peppers),sauce also goes well with fish and seafood.
(d)Chinese Style pepper sauce:A super hot,oil based hot sauce,full of oriental flavor.Infused with lots of garlic and ginger in olive oil and red wine vinegar.For firing up your chinese cooking,regular or exotic meals.
(e)Indian Style pepper sauce:A curry based hot sauce with a blend of many Indian herbs and spices,including gerra,cumin,coriander,cinnamon,nutmeg,bay leaves etc.For that unique taste of India.
(f)Not Hot(sweet pepper)sauce:A pepper sauce with NO sting,NO burn,made with Green Bell Sweet Peppers,onions and garlic.Very nice on salads or as a dip in cream cheese,or in stir-fries with all the flavor of hot sauce but No heat.Kid friendly.
(g)Dark Creole pepper sauce:A special dark,fruit flavoured hot sauce,blended with dried fruit,including black curants,rasins,prunes,cherries etc.Excelent in beef and lamb stews and on ham, turkey,roast,steak and other red meats.
(h)Pure Crushed pepper sauce:For the pure natural taste of one the Caribbean's hottest peppers the Scotch Bonnet,blended with red wine vinegar.
(i)Hawaiian Style pepper sauce:A mustard based hot sauce made with onions,garlic,tumeric with sweet coconut milk and fresh mango added for the tropical flavour of the exotic Hawaiian Islands.
[6]Sweet and Spicy Steak & Burger sauce:An apple based sauce with garlic,onions,basil,gerra,ginger and sugar with the special flavour of the key ingredient local Tamarind.Can be used for grilling or as a condiment after cooking for steaks,burgers and also goes very well with shrimp and seafood.
