BELLY DANCING CLASSES with ELAINE

Elaine has been dancing, in one form or another, for 24 years and has experience in Salsa, Ballroom, Ballet, Tap and Middle Eastern Dance(including performance in productions at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley; the Orchard Theatre, Dartford; the Stag Theatre, Sevenoaks and the Broadway Theatre, Catford). She also appeared in Musical Nights at the Woolwich Arsenal.

Having studied Arabic dance for the last 10 years, including tuition with Mahmoud Reda, Hossam and Serena Ramzy, Yousry Sharif, Raqia Hassan, Aida Noor, Randa Kamel, Nermine Azzazy, Khaled and Shafeek, Elaine enjoys performing informally at community events and Haflas (Arabic parties) as well as at private functions. She has also danced at hotels and nightspots in Turkey on several occasions.

Elaine is an OCR qualified Exercise and Fitness Teacher, has a Joint Examining Board Diploma in Applied and General Principles of Teaching, is qualified as a Teacher to City and Guilds 7407 level and has a certificate in Egyptian Dance from the Josephine Wise Academy of Arabic Dance.
