A Little about us.
We live in the middle of the beautiful Ozark National Forest. Where our family has enjoyed many years of hunting and also fishing. We love it here and have raised our families here.
We started Beach's Beagles quite by accident. Our family decided that we needed to have hunting dogs. The choice was to get a beagle or two for rabbit and white tail deer hunting. The beagle we bought in 1997 was a beautiful Tri-colored female named Taffy. (She was expecting at the time)
In January of 1998 she delivered her beautiful litter or six; five girls and one boy. We had many inquiries for beagle puppies at that time. We just couldn't let go of all of our sweet babies, so, we decided to get a male and start breeding a few puppies. This worked well locally and some of our new puppy owners started telling others about our babies and we started getting calls from around the state. We then decided to try the Internet and since late 1998 we have been shipping puppies all over the United States.
Over the years we have grown to what we feel is a comfortable size. Insuring that we don't have so many that we wouldn't be able to care for and know each one of our special babies.
We have also had Miniature Dachshunds and have had them for our household companions since 1998. Our first one, "Xena Warrior" had puppies from time to time but usually only one or two. In 2004 she had her biggest litter of five and we decided to keep three of her daughters. We then bought a new little guy from Texas,"Doxie Darlins' Jake", and we have started raising the Miniature Dachshunds also.
All of our puppies are born in a contolled enviroment and kept there until they go to their new homes. We love having them as close as possible, (even though it gets a little noisy sometimes), because we feel better about being able to know immediately if something is wrong with one of our sweet ones. We take weekly pictures so that the new families are able to watch their little one(s) grow. We try to insure the care we would like to have happen if we were buying a puppy.
We have beautiful Beagle and Miniature Dachshund companions. AKC registered. We also offer limited shipping. References available.
