joe: the onions have a strange oder what did you put in them jane
jane: perfume to kill the smell
mort: well herman what shall we do
herman: I have got an idea mort
mort: what is it
herman: i will toss this coin if heads we go to the movies if tails we go biking if it stands on the side we go home and study

jane: isn't he a wonderful pitcher joe
joe: he always hits there bats no matter where they hold them
joe: hi herman how was fishing
herman: terific joe I almost caught a huge five foot tuna but it got away

herman: i'm olny human
jow: there you go exagerating agin
ladie: young man if my hats in your way I can take it off
boy: don't bother ma'am your hats funnier than the picture
joe: waiter there is a finger floating in my soup
waiter: its alright sir the soups cold
mort: herman you have owed me 50 cents for months

joe: a caterpillar what did you think it was
pesty: a wourm with a coat
herman: here comes billy with his new watch

billy: my watch is always right
joe: yeah well this watch fell in the river a year later it was still running

joe: what are you fishing for pesty
pesty: whales
joe: theres no whales in this pond
pesty: theres no fish either so I might as well fish for whales
