===***The Battle Zone***===

Here's something new! It's a chat with a full-working battle system like on RPGS! Battles take place inside of the groupboard, and twice every week.


Now first of all, in order to enter, you have to create stats. And doing it is simple. All you need to do, is first choose from these 'base stats':
Fighter Magic-user Balacner
PWR 12 9 10
DEF 7 5 6
AGL 8 10 8
HP 120 90 110
MP 20 50 34

Now, after choosing what kind of attack-type you're going to be,
find some dice, then roll it for each of the stats. then add that which you have rolled to the corresponding stat.
example:
choose to be a fighter.
roll dice to determine character's PWR stat.
rolled 5
Add 5 to PWR stat. SO: 12+5=17
Continue this for all other Stats.

Step 2:
After writing all calculations down on paper, you must decide special skills that your character will posess

What is a skill? It's a special ability to use against your opponent.
But is used by fighters and magic-users only.
How to create a skill:
Creating a skill is easy. It's the choice of skill power which makes it frustrating.
Step one for skills: First choose from one of these skill bases.
Heavy Skill: triple blow to enemy. 4 SP. takes up 6 MP.
Moderate Skill: double-damge blow to enemy. 3SP. takes up 4 MP
Killer Skill:double damage double-blow to enemy. 8SP. takes up 8 MP.
Muter Skill: stop your opponent from using special skills for 2
turns. 5SP. 5MP.
Heal Skill: heals your character's HP by 35. 3SP. takes up 3 MP.
Defenser Skill: DEF goes up by 10. 2 SP. 5MP.
DIE skill: Attack an opponent for every multiple of 5 in your remaining MP. 5 SP. all of remaining MP.
After choosing skills, make sure that when you add all of their SP up,
it makes a sum lower than 12.

For magic users, however, there is a different skill system, magic.
the way to choose them and read them is easy(ie: SP system, MP system)
Magic:
Fire: attack an enemy for 23 HP. 4SP. 4MP.
Dream Blast: attack all enemies for 26 HP. 6 SP. 8 MP.
Pain: do damage to enemy equal to 5 times PWR stat. 6 SP. 10 MP.
Lightning shield: reduces enemies' attacks to you by 50%, but lasting for only three turns. 5SP. 8 MP.
Heal up:heals character's HP by 40. 3 SP. 4 MP.

Again, make sure that the SP sum is lower than 12.

Then there is another kind of skill your character will have. And that is, SUMMON. Summons are basically calling upon a force like a mystical creature to aid you in battle. However, THESE summons may only be used once in battle, only for every 20 levels your character gains, the summon can be used twice, three times, four... and so on, not to mention, you can only have one summon at a time.
The summons you may choose from are the following:
Fire Serpent: summon that inflicts dmage equal to 1/4 the summoner's HP.
Grass Dragon: Summon which heals your character's HP by 50% of Max HP
Legendary Knight: Summon which inflicts damage equal to PWR+DEF.
Ancient Phoenix: Summon which heals HP by 40, MP by 12.
Twilight Sword: Summon which attacks enemy with your character's strength, then Character recives HP back which is equal to dealt damage.
Flay Falcon: summon which allows a character to attack enemy with a special skill for free (note: just one special skill)
Step 3 of creating a character:
Will Power.
What is Will Power? It's a special trait for your character which activates at certain points in battle.
To create a will Power (or WP), is easy, just choose one from this table.
Will Powers:
Life regainer: After being defeated in battle, come back to life with 25% of HP remaining. (MP still same from when KO'ed.)
Regenerate health:Throughtout All of the battle, your character will recover 2 Hp after each turn.
Shield of desperation: after HP is reduced to 20, all damage done to your character is reduced by 50%.

So there you have it, your character is done!

How to Battle, and the Growth system.

First, after going through the setup procedures(which will be announced at the bginning of each battle), the person with the highest AGL goes first. From there, the person has various options to choose from:
Defend
Attack
Skill
Item (when there is one)

Now, what each of these does, is almost self-explanitory:
Defend:DEF doubles until next turn.
Attack: attack opponent, dealing damage equal to that of current PWR.
Skill: after making sure you have enough MP, use a skill which your character has in their inventory, however, MP is reduced with each use of a skill.

Then, the other person with the lower AGL goes for his turn.
This repeats until someone's HP is at zero, or the person quits.

Now that that is explained, I will go on about damage and MP use.
Whenever damage is dealt from or unto you, whomever was struck with the damage, loses HP equal to the damage recieved. However, DEF will reduce the amount of damage the victim suffers.
Example:
Fou-Lu's PWR=32
Fou-Lu attacks Glyde, thus doing damage equal to PWR stat. So, Glyde's DEF is 8.
Glyde's DEF subtracts from the damage.
SO: Fou-Lu attacks Glyde for 32, but, Glyde's DEf subtracts 8 from it, so Glyde takes in 24 damage, and loses 24 HP from his current 116.



Now, MP use is different. As satated before, MP is the fuel for Skills, and you can only use skills when you have enough MP to use the skills you have decided to use in battle. But, when you use a skill, the MP cost, takes away from the MP your character currenlt posesses. Example:
Glyde uses Dream Blast, which deals 26 damage to Fou-Lu, and costs 8 MP.
Fou-Lu recieves 26 damage.
Glyde's MP is reduced by 8.

When each battle ends, the Victor is given a chance to increase one of their Stats (MP, HP, PWR, DEF, AGL) by 10, or, the victor may increase each stat by 4. And, stats have no limit.But a little notation: Skill damage will go up by 5. Healing magic's HP restoration goes up by 6, and magic with 'turn-lasting' effects, the turn amount will increase once a chracter is at every ten in their level (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, etc, etc...).
