APOSTOLIC WORSHIP CENTER (Formerly known as First Pentecostal Church) has served the METRO SE ST. LOUIS area since 1936 with the leadership of men like E.M. Lowery, O. Gillison, E. Grayson, Ernest Jolly, E.J. Mc Clintock, James Wood, Edwin Harper, Daniel Segraves and current pastor, Daniel Batchelor.
The APOSTOLIC WORSHIP CENTER is affiliated with a growing number of Apostolic Pentecostal churches within the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI), Hazelwood, MO.
APOSTOLIC WORSHIP CENTER is Apostolic in Bible doctrine, Pentecostal in spiritual experience, and Christian in character and lifestyle. Biblical teaching and preaching, exuberant worship, and joyful music and singing are characteristics of each service.
The PASTORAL Leaders consists of Daniel (& Nilah) Batchelor and Nathan (& Robyn) Gomez.
APOSTOLIC LEARNING ACADEMY (Formerly St. Clair Christian Academy '77-'02) will celebrated its 30th Anniversay in August, 2007. It is a K-12 Christian school that uses an individualized approach to educate Apostolic students for time and eternity. ALA provides Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum known as Packets of Accelerated Christian Education, for primary subjects, and Apostolic Bible Curriculum (ABC) for doctrine curriculum. ALA has enjoyed Model Status Certification via ACE, Lewisville, TX and is a member of the Department of Elementary & Secondary Education and the ASSOCIATION OF CHRISTIAN TEACHERS & SCHOOLS (ACTS) of the DIVISION OF EDUCATION of the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI).
Pastor & Mrs. Daniel Batchelor came to Delightful Dupo in January of 1979 as a full-time Pastoral Assistant and Youth Pastor; he became Senior Pastor in August of 1982.
August 15th, 2007 marked their 25th Pastoral Anniversary. He and his lovely wife, Nilah, have five wonderful children: Anthony David, Aaron Daniel, Andrea Dawn, Andrew Derek, and an "adopted" son Chad.
THE PENTECOSTALS OF DUPO extend a wonderful welcome to all who desire to make Jesus the Saviour and Lord of their life.
AWC Ministries include KID'S QUAKE (ages 2-11), GROUP4:13 YOUTH (ages 12-35), J.O.Y.STERS CELEBRATIONS (ages 50-up), and CHILDREN'S, YOUTH, and ADULT CHOIRS. Apostolic Learning Academy is a daily K-12 ministry of AWC.
