Barber's Hill Animal Shelter and Rescue
At Barber's Hill our rescue team recovers abused and neglected animals (Dogs)& Cats. We bring them to our facility, and many cases nurse them back to health and then find suitable companion owners to provide a loving home enviroment.
Barber's hill is a foster care shelter facility for the SPCA OF POLK COUNTY INC Which is a non profit 501C3 And under the umbrella for all adoptions & care for animals from this Society.

CURRENT DONATION NEEDS ARE:
Fencing material
Lumber
Dog Houses (all sizes)
Sponsors for animal care (ie.. shots, spayed/neutured, etc...)
Volunter foster families.
As it takes approximatly $400.00 a year per each health animal we care for. Our facility turns an injured or abused animal out for adoption on the average of 8 months.
We believe that if more people are educated in the proper care and responsibility of pet ownership, the stray animal population would be greatly reduced. Although statistics are constantly changing there are about 2 to 6 million former pets put down every year.

Our Goal to establish a low cost, no cost, spay & neutor program and pet care facility in livingston Texas.
