New Bethany Home For Girls & Boys
My name is Barbara Riley McBride. I was at New Bethany for 2 years. From August of 79 to May of 81. I am looking for anyone who attended New Bethany. Every one has their oppinion about New Bethany and to tell you the truth I am shocked to read some accounts of what has suspossidly went on since I left. I hope that I find some of you that were there especially the Class of 81. I miss you guys.
I made a lot of friends at New Bethany and had some good times too. It would be great to hear from you.
I have recently remarried and have 3 wonderful daughters and a beautiful grandson. and I now have 2 step-sons.
I know that not all of us who went to New Bethany had a positive experience but I did and I thank God for sending me to New Bethany. Not all home lives were what the parents made them out to be. My comming to New Bethany was a blessing to me and I feel like I had a home there.
For those of you whose experience wasn't quiet like mine I still would love to hear from you also.
