The Pens have traded Jagr to the Capitals (Washington) for
-3 top-rated prospects
-Future Considerations (possibly cash, 5 million)
Not many thought it was a good deal, but I did. We needed people who didnt cost much, because the Pens were pretty poor, but now that they saved 10 million, and possibly will get 5 million more, the team salary will be 49 million dollars!!! And thats a lot for 1 team, so my advice to Patrick, START SIGNING BACK OUR TEAM!!

The Pens have given an offer to Johan "The Moose" Hedberg, for 583K

Some Pens have filed for arbitration, such as Kovalev, Straka, Lang, Kraft, and the most recent is Aubin. Hedberg said he wont file for arbitration.

PREDATORS

The Predators picked up Yves Sarault from waivers from the Atlanta Thrashers. He had 5 goals and 4 assists in 20 games with Atlanta.

The Predators signed Stu Grimson, the coolest enforcer ever, in my mind. The thing is people thing points are important. I think that defensemen shouldn't be forced to get them. Stu Grimson hasn't had a lot of points, but he is though and hard to get by, so I dont blame him for not having much points.
