      The main aim of this book is to present to the reader, in a concise form, the basic principles of Kala Hora System and its Tables, so that it is useful to everyone who is interested in Astrology. There is no much literature on the subject, yet the author has tried to present the essential principles in the few pages of the book.
      In Hindu Astrology, the duration of each sign is divided in two halves and each division is called Hora. Each Hora takes roughly one hour and each hour is ruled by a particular planet called Hora Lord or the Lord of the Hour. Certain hours are advantageous for certain matters and certain hours are disadvantageous for some affairs. This method of prediction is called Kala Hora System.
      The Hora is useful for common undertakings and daily important matters requiring election of Muhurtha. The Hora Tables are given in this for ready use.
