Microsoft Boycott
That's right, it is possible to boycott microsoft. Should you need an alternative to any microsoft app e-mail me and I can give you the application to replace it with. If you are using windows I suggest invested your money in something more worthwhile, get a Mac and indulge yourself in a creative, innovative experience with the world's most advanced opperating system. Microsft has been ruling much of the computer industry for too long and it is time that the company that actually comes up with the good ideas is recognized. Apple came up with the icon idea on the desktop and event he desktop windows, Microsoft had to liscence it from Apple. What is Windows XP? Not the latest and greatest Windows OS but a take off on Apple's Mac OS X. Don't use a company that steals from another, use the original, the best. Use Apple.
The following list is designed to inform you of applications available as alternatives to Microsoft apps:
?IE. A great web browser available in both 9 and X is Netscape 6.1. A wonderful browser.
?Entourage. The built in mail feature in Netscape 6.1 works very well. Of course, if you are using OS X use Mail.
?Word. Use AppleWorks from the greatest company ever.
If you are using any Microsoft hardware, such as the IntelliMouse, look into some decent Kensington products.
