Our service begins when you receive a notice of a claims denial. We carefully assess the details of your claim and the insurance carrier's denial description in an attempt to determine the most effective steps to resovle the claim in your favor. Each week you receive account status reports and analysis reports to pinpoint which accounts need immediate attention. We can also run carrier-specific reports. If the claim is a Medicare denial, we would start in Medical Review. We have a unique process of tracking and managing all your denied and rejected claims. For Medicare, we track and manage all uour claims through the five appeal steps; although, most often the appeal stops at level three. Each week you receive a printed report for each appeal level. The reports include: what needs to be sent, what's working, what's denied, what's approved, patient total history, claims scheduled, fair hearing, administrative law docket schedule and more.
Appeals Only can work your claims from our office or we can come to yours with a portable laptop. Part of our service is to pull charts to retrieve patient information to be forwarded along with a "request for review" letter to be sent into Medicare or for private insurance carriers, appropriate appeal letters would be determined case by case.
