25 Co RE Bomb Disposal Re-enactment Group
The HQ Section 25th Bomb Disposal Group Royal Engineers Re-enactment Group is a Hampshire based group portraying an active unit of the Royal Engineers engaged in Bomb disposal and mine clearance during the second world war.
Based in Eastleigh The group is will be taking part in living history events throughout Southern England and made its debut at the War on the Line event at the Watercress line in June 2006.We are availible for educational visits and displays throughout the year.
The group are always happy to hear from former Sappers and are actively looking for new recruits both female (ATS) and males over 18 yrs .Recruits are given help with uniforms ect and will receive basic instruction on the work of BD units during ww2.The group is always looking to increase its stock of munitions and equipment,and would be pleased to obtain information and or offers of items that we use for instructional purposes.
