KillingIt would be best to come up with working solutions to animals right to not suffer. Killing an animal is not making it suffer unreasonably. Shooting an animal in the act of hunting is not unreasonable. Holding an animal for a less than 24 hours in some type of trap till it is either released or killed is not unreasonable. Holding cattle in a crowded, filthy holding pen waiting to be butchered is worse and is unreasonable. We all die. Some die to feed others. This is the law of nature. To kill and eat a subspecies is not immoral. It is a process of nature. The Hawk eats the rabbit that is subspecies to it.
"Yes animals are aware that they are being killed and used. Just as the squirrel runs from the eagle, just as the rabbit runs from the coyote, The lion after the zebra, The man after the deer, or as a fish is eaten by another fish and so on and so on. Yes and the farmed animals in the slaughter houses. Are you to educate the lion not to eat a zebra? "
It is best to educate man to properly and humanely do what he has to do for as said above the vast majority of man eats meat. drinks dairy and uses animal products.More wildlife is killed and maimed by the automobile than any other means. Oh to walk on hallowed ground here. To give up our rights to drive. There are no rights to drive it is a privilege. Whom in their right mind would give up riding around in their cars. Is it necessary to be able to drive a car to work and get groceries? It is not necessary. One can use bicycles or walk. One can choose to live close to work rather than far away from it. Nobel of those to ride bicycles or walk to work but most commute by gas guzzling polluting monsters that pollute the air and water causing more damage to wildlife. To give up a renewable resource like leather in favor of vinyl's or anything that is made from petroleum sources(a non-renewable resource)creating more factories spewing out more pollution into the rivers and atmosphere. In turn killing and sickening more animals. To try to go all organic items like cotton, wool and hemp and whatever can be used as fiber. Organic farming is good but it is costly. In order to keep up with world demand at prices that people can afford the farmers would still use herbicides and pesticides to fill the gap. This will cause more sick and dying wildlife by pollution. This will keep going on for we will not be able to stop the birth of new humans, so our numbers will continue to increase. That is till mankind has polluted to the point that he himself starts to die off. The point is that we all live in this world together and some of us are different than others. It takes tolerance and understanding of different cultures to get along. Work on educating people to drive less, use fewer synthetics, use less pesticides and herbicides, using humane farming techniques and the list can go on. Work on a coexistence. Work on tolerance. Don't think your way is the only way. Wolves, coyotes, cats, men, mice, rats, lots of fish are meat eaters. Show the difference in humanely raising and killing the animals versus the inhumane way. There is a difference. A quick dispatch although not pain free is very sudden. What would be considered a quick dispatch? A bullet to the lungs takes about how long? To the heart about how long? To the head about how long? How long is a quick dispatch? A split second, a second, a few seconds, a minute, a few minutes or five minutes. Longer than that maybe getting to be to long. A conscientious hunter or trapper will kill as quickly as possible and as humanely. They will regret the kills that were not clean and efficient doing the best they can.
When an animal is hit with an automobile on the way to work, be it just a bird, how long does it flutter its wings in agony? How long does it take for a duck to die covered with oil? How long does it take a fish to die of pesticide poisening? How long does a deer suffer that runs off after being hit by a car? We don't know! Most don't care!
