Leroy 'Animal' Alcide is the madcap drummer of the band. Nuts doesn’t even begin to describe him! Animal is the life and soul of The Worries, the heartbeat .He also fancies himself as a singer!
Animal is a talented singer in his own right, but has made his mark as a drummer, his credits are impressive and include performances with LEROY ANTHONY, WINSTON GROOVY, DESMOND DECKER, NITTY GRITTY, PINCHERS, LEROY SMART, JOSEPH COTTON, MAXI PRIEST, JOHNNY CLARKE, KING KONG, ANTHONY RED ROSE, HOT CHOCOLATE, RAY ANTHONY and JOE BONI. Far from the discreet drummer in the background is ever present in The Worries performance.
