Thank you for visiting An Angel 2 An Angel. This page is dedicated to my sister Lori. Lori spends much of her time trying to fix every bird with a broken wing. She just never stops giving and helping and reacing out to others. 2004 I had a car accident and have spent the past year recovering. Lori being Lori would send daily inspirationals, jokes,and anecdotels. She would have our Mother send care packages and cards and whatever she could think of to bring a smile to my face.
I was having a lot of bad days, but those days were always a little easier to get through when I would get these suprise care packages and notes in the mail and email.
So now I need to pay it forward. I want to bring a smile to someone else's face. You just never know what a kind word will do for someone that just cannot bring themselves to get out of bed to go to a physical therapy appointment when every muscle in their body is hurting, or to swallow just one last pill for the day after taking so many already, or not being able to do the things they were once able to do-like walk around the block with their kids.
Some days can be a real challenge for someone that is dealing with long term illnesses. I am there and if my sister had not taken the time out of her busy days to put that card or note or care package in the mail to me, I don't know if I would be where I am today in this phase of my recovery. I am still recovering, but my days are a lot brighter thanks to my sister. I see my glass half full, not half empty. Thank you Lori. This is for you. From your biggest fan.
Is there someone close to you that needs a bit of encouragement? Is someone sick or terminally ill or in hospice and needs to know that someone cares and is praying for them? Or is there someone you know that just needs a pick-me-up? Spouse, family, friend of a deployed military member worried about their loved one? Need to say you're sorry? Need to surprise someone just because?
If so, I will send your family member or friend a little crocheted angel or butterfly; a beaded angel or cross pin tucked away in a crocheted prayer pouch enclosed with a bible verse, poem or whatever message you would like to include. There is no charge for making or mailing the items.
This is my small way of saying thank you to my sister and reflecting the light of God's love in the world.
