The Meeting

I wait for the day
You walk off the plane
I see you smile
It sooths my pain

Heart filled with joy
Our meeting is here
Since I was a boy
Dreamed you would be near

Woman of my dreams
Like an angel from heaven
You raise my heart
You ease my fear

My constant thoughts
I was alone
No one to love
No one to hold

You walk off the plane
Into my heart
You sooth my pain
No longer apart
