DAUGHTERS OF AMERICAN REV. MAG. VOL. #96 shows the following: Andw. McMahan (or McMahon) married Jane (or Jean) Walker, July 22, 1793, by Rev. Samuel Houston, Jennet Walker, mother, consents.

Jane Walker and Andrew McMahan's children were:
1. Cathy Ann McMahan born February 09, 1808 and married John Moore Paxton
2. Alexander McMahan married Ellen moore
3. Samuel McMahan married Betsey Williams
4. Jane McMahan (nothing known of her)
4. Peggy McMahan married David Paxton
5. Andrew McMahan married a Adaline Black

Andrew McMahan is shown as a buyer at the sale of John Cabaniss in Green County. (Inventory Book 2 covering 1812 - 1820) In the early 19th century he was a farmer and a grist mill operator on the banks of Russell Creek.

There were two different Andrew McMahan's listed as Revolutionary War veterians from Virginia. One on the Ohio State Line (#3791) and one was a sargent (#3728)
