BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH - AMBER SILVERSTAR
* THE STARTING POINT:
Amber Silverstar is known for her insights, intuition and inspiration in helping others seek energizing and life changing information. This information, she says, "clears mind, body, heart and spirit so each individual can live from the center of their soul self."
Amber started her communications career as co-founder of the Alliance For Correctional Justice. It began with two members and grew into 500 professional, lay and religious volunteers. Through her Alliance leadership, she directed and helped to win an historical law suit which established new educational and medical programs and promoted major changes for both men's and women's incarcerations. For her pioneer leadership in this area, she became an appointed member by the Governor of Arizona to the State Board for Corrections Planning and Justice.
* CHANGE AND CHOICE:
Following this period of intense activist work, Amber raised two sons, studied for two degrees in English and Political Science at Arizona State University. She then became a governmental liaison, followed by starting her own production company called
AMBER PRODUCTIONS. She wrote, hosted and produced television and radio shows. The shows dealt with social and personal issues such as the dynamics of change and choice during the transitional times of community and individual life.
Belonging to the Coalition For World Peace, and nominated to the public relations board for the regional division of the United Nations, Amber lectured at Universities, colleges, civic groups and religious organizations. She covered the topics of personal commitment in helping others achieve clarity and balance on a local and even global level. This included designing and editing a journal called GENTLE STRENGTH TIMES.
* SUCCESS:
From this high public profile, people sought out Amber's advise on personal, business and community problems. Because she had her own private story of successfully overcoming poverty, health and relationship challenges, those who sought her advice were inspired to change their own lives. She then began to share with others insightful ways to connect spiritually, live intuitively, and plan their own life's purpose.
Through the success of Amber's lectures, private consultations and professional communications, she developed a company called DESTINY BRIGHT LIFESTYLES. Today, as Executive Director of DESTINY BRIGHT LIFESTYLES, Amber has expanded the company to include consultation services, books, fashions, decor, gifts, media and art: all to support the positive message of spreading light, love and joy throughout the world.
* RECOGNITION:
For her community and academic achievements, Amber Silverstar received Outstanding Student of the Year Award in Philosophy and Logic. She was member of the Dean's list, receiver of the Seven Step Foundation Award, a Governor's appointee, Who's Who in American Colleges, and Who's Who in American Theater. She currently lives on California's Southern Coast with her husband, Steven, and a wealth of books on art, astronomy, personal growth, interior design, philosophy and the paranormal - all of which she calls her, "alternate sources of reality."
