2010 Level 10 Competitive season has begun. Competing VAULT, BEAM and FLOOR early this season after not competing MOST events for 2 years, ALYSSA is fighting back from an injury in Summer'07 that almost ended her career. A NEW bar routine will be ready later this season!

...She began as a busy 3 year old climbing counters,swinging monkey bars on playgrounds and becoming the fastest rope climber at 8 years old in the gym. After the AZ level 5 State Championships in 2002, placing 1st AA, 1st BARS, 1st BEAM, Coach Eaton invited her to FAST TRACK level 7, a special training group, at DESERT DEVILS. By 10/11 yrs old she qualified for TOPS NATIONAL's at Bela Karroli's camp in 2004, under the direction of Coach Jack Carter. She competed level 9 at 11 yrs old, moving up to level 10 by 12 yrs old.

Came back on BEAM.
injury took her out of LEVEL 10 STATE, REGIONAL and NATIONAL Championships in '08 and '09. Despite all of this ALYSSA is on her way back. After not vaulting for nearly 2 years her Yurchenko Layout Full is amazing, along with new tricks added to her Bars, Beam and Floor routines from CARTER's GYMNASTICS. Confident for the 2010 season, expect to see some competitive action. Alyssa has unfinished gymnastics to attend to!
